A new round of competition for this year’s Poker Hall of Fame has begun, and Phil Hellmuth has yet to shake his pulse shows his 2023 candidate.
The nomination process has begun, and while largely anonymous, the Poker Kid has made it clear that Mike Matusow should be incremented.
As it does every year and in the middle of the WSOP, the recruitment process for the Poker Hall of Fame has begun. At this point, anyone can submit their nominee, and a shortlist will be drawn from about 10 candidates before the current members decide who is elected this year.
This week Hellmuth posted on social networks his wish for Matusow to be elected. In this publication, he lists all the achievements of the American throughout his career that make his resume fully qualified for this appointment.
My boy @themouthmatusow should be a “Poker Hall of Fame” contender: 4 @WSOP bracelets, 2 WSOP Main Event final table, 5 @WPT final table, won @NBC heads-up, has played high stakes poker since 1998 (21 of 25) and has always been popular… https://t.co/PDFCiW104f pic.twitter.com/8UJI8lSZ6g
